Prairie City 2019, Team Bonding in the Mud!

This month Access teamed up with Accu-Tech to attend the 51st Annual Hangtown Motocross Classic in Sacramento, CA. This annual event was the opening round for the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.

The weather for the event was far from ideal. Rather than clear skies and warm temperatures, prior since the 1990’s, we were greeted with heavy rain and frigid conditions. But despite all the rain, mud, and occasional wind, the ACI team made the most of their time at the race and stuck it out until the end.

It was a thrill watching the motocross racers go over huge jumps, soaring 30 feet in the air to spanning distances over 90 feet. The unpredictability of the sport kept our eyes glued to the track knowing that a pass or crash could happen anywhere at any time. The racers were going around turns at speeds you never knew were possible, and the miraculous thing about it was that they were doing all of this in mud that made something as simple as walking through the parking lot a difficult task. However, it is also quite a nerve-racking adrenaline thrilled sport. It can be dangerous; anything can happen going around any turn or over any jump especially in conditions that are not ideal. We all learned quickly that it was a sport that keeps you sitting on the edge of your seat until the checkered flag is waved.

It is very important as a business owner to get your team out of the office and experience new things together, even if that experience involves a little mud and rain. The better connection you have with the team, the better connections you will have with your customers.

Showing there is more to the business than just the day to day business tasks is key to a not only running a successful company but also maintaining a healthy working environment for all.

Again we want to thank Accu-Tech for organizing and providing this amazing opportunity.

We continue to become increasingly dependent on wireless data and voice devices, and expect constant connection and coverage anywhere in the office or around campus. From our desks to parking garages, and everywhere in between. Adequate coverage in all areas of your building is vital.

A Distributed Antenna System (DAS) is a type of In-Building Wireless Solution. It is a scalable solution for large buildings that boosts cellular coverage through strategic placement of Signal Source Equipment and antennas connected through coaxial cable and/or fiber. These solutions are ideal for multi-story buildings, Corporate Campuses, School Campuses, stadiums, hospitals and more. We’ve recently implemented this system for a pharmaceutical company located in Palo Alto, California.
